Nephros® - - "Taking Hemodiafiltration to a Higher Level"

Nephros makes a unique mid-dilution hemodiafiltration (HDF) filter, the OL-pur-MD 190, where blood is first routed through a peripheral region of the hollow-fiber bundle. Blood is then diluted with replacement fluid in the back header, and then flow is reversed through the core of the fiber bundle. This allows very high replacement fluid flow rates and β-2 microglobulin clearances in the range of 150 - 200 mL/min, twice as high as with standard, post-dilution HDF. The OL-pur-MD 190 can be used with standard on-line HDF machines. For more information about the OL-pur-MD 190 filter and Nephros, please visit the new Nephros® VIRTUAL EXHIBIT BOOTH .
